Non- Anesthetic Dental Cleaning

​

A Non-anesthetic Dental cleaning is a procedure that is done on your dog’s teeth without any anesthesia. Your dog is awake wrapped in a towel (swaddle) into a comfortable position between my legs. The equipment that is used is a hand scaler or an ultrasonic scaler to remove calculus and plaque buildup. Once we have removed the calculus we will polish teeth with a prophy flavored paste and then use flavored rinse for dogs. This procedure can take 45 minutes to an hour.
